Hey, I’m Ashwe.

I make colourful paintings with special shapes and lines that look like they might be alive.

The Art Bugs, Reflect Insects

My process was developed early 2019 in response to the generative art movement and development of AI but executed completely by hand, The artistic intent is also symbolic of life and of evoking of species that go on undiscovered or Dark Extinction

Sketched and painted to create abstract pieces that tap into our natural tendency of seeing familiar forms in patterns. Each painting explores how intersecting lines and shapes can trigger recognition of organic forms without being literal representations.

These works serve as fossils capturing that moment of human experience in which you or I first notice a pattern in otherwise random lines and shapes, Preserving feelings and memories into abstract compositions that play with reflected symmetry and building on a greater emerging aesthetic universe.
